Management Through Improvement

Help them help you help them.

I recently stumbled across an excellent 2016 paper on best classroom practices that I just have to share. Much of the findings will come as little surprise for seasoned teachers, but it's always great to see solid support for what does and doesn't work. This paper is a review of 49 published articles on classroom practices. The authors provide a detailed breakdown of which practices work and to what degree based on the literature review. Here's a snapshot of their findings.
